Sweet potato chick pea not curry

Sweet potatoes
Tofu
Chick peas
Green beans
Garlic
Coconut milk
Rice

Marinate tofu in salad dressing and salt/pepper
Cook and cube sweet potato
Sauté tofu with garlic (separately)
Sauté sweet potato with chick peas and green beans (10 mins)
Add coconut milk
Cook a few
Add tofu
Cook 5-ish all together
Serve over rice with tamari

Vegan Thanksgiving Dressing

9 C bread cubes
3 T olive oil
1/2 C white onions diced
3/4 C celery
3 1/2 C vegetable broth
1 flax egg
1 1/4 t sage

Preheat oven to 350 f / 176 c
Use 9x13 greased pan
Prepare flax egg
Sauté onion and celery in olive oil (5 minutes)
Into bowl of bread cubes, pour most of veg broth then add onion/celery, sage, and flax egg
Mix with a wooden spoon - consistency should be about that of meatloaf - use more broth if too dry
Transfer to prepared pan and cover with foil
Bake 45 minutes
Remove foil
Set heat to 400 f/ 204 c
Bake another 10-15 minutes until top is well browned and crisped

Golden Pecan Pie

3 eggs
1C light corn syrup
1/2 C sugar
4T melted unsalted butter (170g)
1t vanilla
2 1/2 C pecans

Make basic pie dough 
Preheat oven to 425 f / 218 c

Mix all ingredients together 
Pour into shell 
Bake 15 minutes
Reduce heat to 350 f / 176 c
Continue to bake 20+ minutes, until crust browns and filling sets

Swedish Rye Bread

1 pkg yeast (proof w/ warm water for ~1hr)
2 c w wheat fl, 2 c rye flour, blended
4 more c warm water
Mix with yeast solution, rise 3 to 4 hours

2 c brown sugar
1T salt
1T fennel
1/2 c molasses
the rind of one orange
Mixed in with first part, adding enough enriched flour to make the whole mass knead-able 
Knead for at least ten minutes, work more flour in
Rise for 8 - 10 hours
Butter 4 or 5 bread pans
Divide dough into pans
Rise 3 to 4 hours
Add egg wash, bake 375 10 minutes, 325 for 40 minutes until done

(3 to 4 pounds flour in total)

Colburn / Charles Hampton Venison steak

Venison
Soy sauce to cover the steaks (4 T / pound)
Ginger - 1 T
1/2 t garlic powder 

7 mins per side, cook hot like a cow steak

Fresh Spinach Quiche

10 in pie plate lined with unbaked pie crust

fresh clean deveined spinach, torn in pieces
1 silver skin onion, sliced thin
12 oz Swiss cheese, grated
arrange in layers in the pie plate, alternating the three... pack it down!

In blender whip together
5 large eggs
3 T Worcestershire sauce
2/3 cup half and half
1 teas. dry mustard
1/2 cup  Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper

Pour over layers. Bake 375 for 45 minutes, until set.
May sprinkle cheese over the top, as extra garnish, before baking.
